Innocent is currently with 6 years’ experience in secondary school teaching and instruction, 3 years in Tertiary institution teaching, 2 years in research work and digital instruction. confident, skilled and hardworking, with a positive approach to work and always ready to face new challenges. He is equipped with communication and interpersonal skills. He is also an administrator and a teacher with enthusiasm and excellent team play. Muhwezi is conversant with the socio-political context and is methodologically technical when it comes to research design, data collection, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Muhwezi Innocent who is currently a PhD Candidate in the College of Humanities, Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) Department at the University of Ghana Legon, holds a Master of Education in Research from Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya, a Bachelors of Education (Business studies) and a Diploma in Education Secondary (Business Studies double main) all from Kyambogo University, Kampala Uganda and a 2024/2025 Climate Justice training fellow alumni for Africa Programme

MR. AREEBAHONA GERALD

Benson Turyasingura is currently an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR-Rwanda). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Kabale University, Uganda, and a Master of Science in Climate-Smart Agriculture from Haramaya University, Ethiopia, where he studied under a World Bank scholarship. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Science at Kabale University, focusing his research on “Towards a Machine Learning Model for the Response Dynamics of Soil Respiration in Tropical Forest Ecosystems in Uganda.” Since 2018, Mr. Turyasingura has been working as a research assistant under the Directorate of Research and Grants, led by Prof. Natal Ayiga, and has also served as an Assistant Lecturer on a contract basis, teaching various modules. His scientific expertise includes climate change policy, soil science, water policy, grant proposal writing, bibliometric analysis, morphometrics, and climate uncertainty modeling. His research has been published in reputable journals such as Modeling Earth Systems and Environment (Springer), the East African Journal of Agriculture and Biotechnology, the East African Journal of Environment and Natural Resources, and Frontiers in Environmental Science. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for several academic journals, including Cogent Food and Agriculture and NJAS: Impact in Agricultural and Life Sciences.
